Did you get the rtt mounted? I love the idea of a rtt. you can pull into a mud pit unpack tent and still be out of the muck. If i had the extra cash i would buy one but there is always something else to fix or buy.
Was it a bad ground on the lights?

naw i had the wires backwards on the lights...damn chinese and not using black and white...

as for the rtt. it was excellent when it was on my blazer. on the jeep it just sits to high and is not really a great idea with the kids, so for now its for sale with the congo cage roof rack.

starting to regret selling my blazer

you would be surprised...i had to stand on a stool to mount it on the jeep...i could do it from the ground on the blazer,

on the jeep the roof rack sits 5" or so above the roof line which is 2 " above my head.

the blazer roof line came up to my face .

its a bit higher and the suspension in the jeep is much softer than the blazer was.

all small things that make me like my tent cot better
