Fun with scale LED light bars

I figured since all the cool people run scale LED lights and I have an LED light bar on my JK, I should give in to peer pressure.
I bought a 6", a pair of 4" and a 2" light bars from Vanquish.
First crawler to get one was the Wraith, I already have the LED's in the light buckets with some reflectors I pulled out of a ball cap head light.
But since they work best on more than 11 volts, I bought some mini 3 cell Lipo packs which give out 13.3 volts at full charge.
Giddy-yup.

The next 2 crawlers I have will also get LED's later next week.

I went for a quick little rip last night and took a tumble, so I moved the light bar lower down.

Now I am working on the SCX Jeep, I wired up the tail lights with a pair of orange lights for the front signal lights, and the main and fog lights will get white LED's.

on the wraith i would consider mounting your light but on the back of the hood. It will keep you CG lower.

Thought about it, but the light just bounces off the hood, the side lighting is so extreme, it's best up high, and they weigh as much as 5 bucks in loonies, so weight is nothing.
My main concern is taking an endless tumble down a rocky trail and bending the aluminum housing.

The Poison Spider mounts for the windsheild showed up, as well as some more stuff.

Took the time to ditch the shitty in board cantilever shock system on my Vaterra Twin Hammer and use the GCM shock hoops and plate, the battery pack for the lights will be strapped inside and box on the plate:

Took the Wraith out for a night spin, lots of light.

I got all the lighting done. Now I'm bored.
Vaterra Twin Hammer is done, with a scrap piece of lexan for the roof and I cut some custom mounts from scrap ABS sheet.

The SCX Jeep got a full grill insert, I had to split in half due to the incorrect spacing, 3M sticky taped to the inside.

Signal lights, I used some plastic spacers to focus the light straight out:

Main and fog lights:

The tail lights I wanted more of a buggy look to them, and the square molds that came with the grill kit required lots of paint and cutting, this is cleaner.
