It is a Toyota,but not a truck

1985 Celica Supra. Bought it as a rust bucket in June 2012,had it stripped with engine out in 4 days, then sent off to Classic Image.
7mgte from an 89 Supra, 5 speed swap(R154),stainless brake and clutch lines.Alum flywheel,new calipers,ST suspension,KYB shocks.

Car when I first got it

Stripping it down

Working on oil pump relocation, dipstick relocation, filter relocation and oil pan.

At the body shop

Back from body shop

Engine and trans in

Rolled out to turn car around in garage.Front susp done,Rear to do.

Finished

Digital dash cluster

I did everything except the body work, custom wiring and custom driveshaft.
Got it running just before the rains started so she awaits the sun,Believe it or not, I have yet to drive this.I did drive it up on the trailer when first bought and around our townhouse once to load up for inspection, but that is it.
Don't see these around anymore.

Of course I still have this beauty

Not so bad ,mainly because engine and interior was all out, so very light.I bet the trailer weighs more than the car at that point. We have a 99 Durango with the 5.9L that is our main towing rig.I wanted to pick up the Supra with the 4Runner, otherwise it was brought down from Mt Currie with the Durango.

I am already having fun just looking at it and waiting to drive it. I may have to invest in tires early.

My 4runner

Here's my rig. Its our dd so trying to keep it in good shape. Had it over a year now. Bought stock with 175k. Mod list never ends, but i'm finding its a lot of fun to do the research and build a truck for my needs. Looking forward to doing some longer trails like whipsaw this summer. For now stave will have to do.
