traxxas emaxx. behind the times...

well i pulled the old emaxx 3906 out after about four years
did some tinkering and fixing. bit the transmission is very loud and chunky. tons of play
what can replace it with? it would seem they have changed alot since my rc days. i have an absolute ton of replacement parts for this thing so its not rea. lly worth starting again fresh. hopefully someone can help me a bit

Nothing but that tranny is bolt in..... Just order some gears n bearings ebay a used one

Wicked thanks, I actually had the bearings and one of the gears the rest I got ordered from great hobbies, I have pretty much duplicates and triplicates of every part on this thing. made a rookie mistake lastnight, replaced the little crown gear to diff screws and then put it all back together with the diff upside down.... .
