I'm thinking this time of the year this would make for a fun cabinwall group trip. We have to do this before the snow flies which is going to be soon. this shouldn't take longer then 3 days

I have googled earth the hell out of this area and I the road is still in good shape then this will connect up to the Coquihalla coming out at the Caroline Mines

Two/three years ago I went from the spius creek FSR off the coq and down useless creek (uzuless sp?) in my dodge 3500 with a 10' camper on the back while flat towing the samurai.

Up out of Boston Bar you will want to take the main road to the right. This will end up following the river up the valley (some nice camp spots along the river). Once you get up top and the road starts to level out you'll find a clearcut and a branch that comes in from the rear and left. It stays fairly level then somewhat drops back down into a bit of a bowl shaped clear cut with a bit rocky peak on it's south end. Once through, turn left for Spius Creek, Turn Right up and over the hill to find your way to Murray Lake.

Two/Three years ago there had been some recent activity up there. A fresh road had been punched between the two sides with a large slash pile on the Spius creek side of things. It's hard to say if they have gone through and deactivated stuff yet.
