boss or davis lake?

anyone been up to boss or davis lake since the huge windstorm they had at the end of june? were thinking of heading up there and I'm just wondering if many trees came down or how beat up it is up there?

really, we've always ridden dirtbikes around that area and never had a problem. not on the logging roads but up in the hills. I'm more concerned with getting our travel trailer in there. i heard there was a nasty storm up there and I'm wondering if the sites are still open , thats all.

My buddies were up there in the windstorm, said it was a complete disaster heading out. Trees across roads and trails everywhere. They didn't figure it was worth a trip back this year cause of the amount on sawing that would need to be done.

A buddy of mine had his 2011 Dodge crushed to the ground by one of those old pine trees. He was sleeping in the truck not more than a few minutes before it came down. That road is used by the ranchers. It should be all clear by now.

went up there 2 weeks ago, roads are cleared but there is alot of trees down. The camp sites are all cleared too.

Well we never made it to boss lake, we ended up at Larson hill, I'll post some pics once I get them downloaded

i was up there last weekend, sure made a mess the main roads are clear but any small roads are blocked to a point, its sure empty up there now

take the coquihalla to exit 256(coldwater) then follow kane valley road till you get to the chain of lake, davis, boss, etc.
