I ussually dont bother with the steel plate it comes with. Its a pain to line up the bolt holes. Instead I use a piece of abs or medite and sandwich that between the headliner and roof ribs drill a hole for the wires to drop through and screw the monitor up through the headliner into the abs or medite thats in there.
All told takes about an hour no mess no fuss and no holes through your roof .
if you like and you want to drive to richmond, for a nominal fee I can do it for you

Just drill through the roof, then use silicone. 3

Exactly, if you don't know how to do it and you're somewhat mechanically inclined (which most wheelers are) ask and learn, then do it yourself and feel satisfied. I'm sure Epic 3 does a fantastic job, but why not expand your knowledge base? You made the post so you could figure it out, not to get someone else to do it right?
