Hiking trails

Been doing lots of hiking around kelowna westbank area and woundering if anyone knows of any realy good places out of the normal spots. Up and side roads or such. Been looking for mines and caves too. Heard there was a cave up blue grouse but cant find it and the backroad mapbook doesnt show anything. Was hoping someone might know of some good spots....

yup sure do Basically what i do id drive up Logging roads like bear main, esperon etc, and see a mtn, then climb it!

a gooder that's open right now is near Shannon lake golf course. coming from kelowna turn onto bartley, then left onto Shannon lake road, then right onto Shannon Woods i think. well thats the name of the subdivision anyway. Go up, first right, first left, to the end and there is a gated access road that you follow... up onto the water thingy (actual name escaping me), go across and follow the trail! basically all options lead to the top... there's one right up the creek and there's a route up the eastern facing slope, which i suggest. all in all find your way to the top and it's a great view! count on 2-3 hours roundtrip and a good calf/quad burn

do that one and i'll give ya another

Clubtread's ok... i've had more luck with trailpeak.com, but the okanagan hikes are slim.
