theres no such thing as a private lake,if you have a lake on your property you must have access via a trail or road for the public ,just my 2cents

There is one just outside of mission going towards maple ridge on the right hand side of the highway.

that's silvermere lake
funny thing, all those people living along there wanted everyone kept out (hence all the private property signs)
and it turned out the owner of the "island" in the centre owned all the property the lake is on, as it's a man made lake...

That's right that's right.. It's some development company who sold some of the land so they could expand the roadway of lougheed.. got all the owners pissed off, but they couldn't do anything about it because THEY didn't own the land.. So does it being a man made lake change things?

some random information that has nothing to do with anything...

The Stave delta, formerly an oxbow lake, has been partly drained and dyked to form Silvermere Lake, part of a 1950s vintage real estate development; the oxbow's central island was transformed by the dredgings into a hill upon which the developer's private estate was built. It is now a Royal Canadian Mounted Police training facility.

No You Gotta Take the Langsdale Ferry And Then Its Like 10 minutes from the ferry there.. he owns 38 acres with the lake on it
