the Bettery I got is a Sanyo 3300MAh NI-MH 6 cell pack.
charge it on 3-4 amps and kill it right dead before you charge it you will get the most power and longest run time!

Find an extra conector (that your battery will hook to) and sodder a 12 volt light to the other end if you done have time to kill your battery just throw the light on it and that will do the work for ya!

No idea where in Coq, but you can get them at just about any hobby shop for about $300. Or order online for about $200us.

Mine started off as a 2wd Wheely King. But they come with a front drive axle, so you just need to put in a driveshaft. Tmax DS works great and can be found easily.

I believe HPI makes a 4x4 crawler version now.

Cheap/free mods like making your own lockers by glueing the diff (similar to a welded diff on a real truck). Beadlocks by glueing the tires to the rims. Smaller pinion on the motor for more gear reduction. There's lots more, but those are the simple & effective ones I can think of right now...

Mine's got a full custom tube chassis, which is pretty cheap and easy since you just made it outta brake tubing and solder it together.
