24hr Flood notice

We were given our 24hr notice of imminent flood watch warning today.
We scrambled to move small shit to 3m, anything that could be lifted with the fork lift got raised off the floor. Now we have to worry about 4+ million dollars worth of equipment. Because we took ownership on April 1, we are not covered by flood insurance. Good thing all of our stock is steel pipe , Now we just have to move 7 vehicles, tether down 5 boats, move a 5th wheel to the highest point on the lot, and PRAY it doesn't crest the dike by too much. Because the concrete blocks will act as a break water and not let the shit back out either...

Ahhh the joy of living in Albion.

here in quesnel we're nearly 10' higher than usual. Not much to flood around here except a couple underpasses right by the river.

I work at Self Storage in Abbotsford. I sleep, and do night security for my Uncles Shipyard in Albion, until I can find a permanent apt. or until I figure out what is happening with my job. (just started 2 weeks ago).

Canoe.... guys, the river is moving at 8 knots, You guys would end up in Richmond before you could shit in your shorts...
