In the summer, good luck getting in.

Try the goverment web site & see if you can reserve a spot.
Any of the Provincials around the Okanagan area are always full.

There is a Prov camp site on Okanagan Lake in Vernon, come down the Hwy into Vernon, take your first left at the lights (25th Ave) & follow it out to the park.

A better one is on Kal Lake , Kakooly Bay (spelling) just south of Vernon (can be seen from the Hwy).
Kal Lake is clearer, cleaner & warmer than Okanagan.
We use the boat launch every Sat.
If you have a boat, you can boat to the pub at the north end of the lake, go staight across from the launch to Cousins bay, another walk in only Prov Park (has a nice boat access sandy beach.)

There are also camp sites along the east side of the lake that are boat access only.

I think he was asking about Bear Creek on Harrison Lake not the provicial park on Okanagon lake.

We spent many a weekends there before, it gets really busy. Mostly families cuz the "younger" drunks go down more near the Mill to party it up...

I really liked that spot. The large waterfall that is there is awesome to go climbing around on (the rocks at the base that is). Take a gold pan for it too! I even was brave enough to go in the water at the base of the falls. COLD!!!

The beach at the site is just awesome. Gets windy so if you pick a spot, be it in the bushes more. I believe 2 years ago they had a campsite host staying there to keep the rif-raf down low.
