My bronco (71) is exempt due to it being regesterd as a pick-up and I upped the gvw to a 1 tonne...
Insurance costs $75 more a year but is well worth it with the engine mods...
no $26 / year and having to fuck with it to get it to pass...S W E E T . . .

Allright, stupid question time: when I left BC there was no such thing as Aircare. I'm moving to Kamloops with an AB registered, modded jeep. From what I gather here there is no Aircare in the interior? What about general inspections before I can get insurance? Thanks for the help.

How are they going to call you out on it? Are they gonna check your axle ratio?

i heard in the new year that aircare won't matter cars/trucks that 2001 and older. that you would only have to use aircare for the 2002 and newer vehicles. but i could be wrong
