New to this site as it turns out I don't know a lot of you so I figured I'd share.......

So - I took advantage of being able to get out wheelin' on Father's Day. Off I went to explore some places I hadn't been.

No pic - BUT my first greeting as I was just getting to where the pavement ends on goudie - low and behold I pass a newer Ford (parked) and look over and there's an ass up in the air!!! [1c] been a while since that happened on something like that - drove up farther to air down - a couple more trucks passed by THEN the black Ford - hilarious. Guess they realized it's more busy than they thought

So then off I went -- wanted to check out the area and see if I could figure out some more loops since I don't know many people who seem to want to go to the area or know it.

Not a whole bunch of pics - but some... after driving a bit - remembered I brought my camera this time! (I'm brutal for forgetting my freekin' camera)..

view shots - too bad it was really overcast - but it shows the cloud level pretty good

one of the trails I thought was worthy of a pic... went down some sort of fun ones - but a lot ended up being dead ends :dontknow:

there was a mud section coming up - decided since I was out to take a posser pic - not as good as I thought.....

http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk384/goodcanuck/IMG_0577.jpg

this one was better

I found another couple trails but they ended up turning into a zuki trails - jeeps could fit, but it was tight! - I was alone and decided to turn around eventually since some stumps and shit were starting to get me envisioning myself having to highjack myself out of some stucks - actually got worried on this trail (maybe a different one) and because of that I didn't think to take pics until I got back out - oh well maybe next time - the one looked pretty challenging and probably was a loop.

moving on---

cabin that a friend had mentioned he stayed at when he was hunting a couple weeks ago - probably subconsciously the reason I went up to the area -

my new posser pic - finally decided to give into the internet peer pressure posser pic - hmmm - I guess my other one is similar :-\

I think this was the sort of the last trail I hit - not much to this except when you eventually come out - friggin goes to a trail that looked awesome - I'm not sure if I should post the pics since the one is the trail head pic - but I'll post the one and the mods can figure it out - if you go left there is a giveaway about what trail this would be - but I won't post that pic (yet). If you know this trail.....I WANT TO DO IT!!!...

Went home via Bata - started heading up the mountain trail - smelled campfire, but decided to turn around since I was already about 1/2 hour later than I said I'd be and if I got to where the people were - then likely it would have been a [51] and intros and talking - so I decided to save that for another day....otherwise :badday[21]

pics from about 3/4 up the mountain top access/fsr

decided to bring this out with me

http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk384/goodcanuck/IMG_0594.jpg

now I have an exhaust header, a sway bar, a rear sway(stabilizer) bar and now a truck exhaust in the car port - guess my next venture is to the metal yard ;D

Anyhow - it was a good day and when I got home my wife, little girl, wife's mom and her friend decided that they should treat me to Montana's for diner - so for me this was a good father's day. :D [36]

i know that trail section you want to try it ends just past the top of the hill and joins up to another fsr
looks like there is alot of logs added to it to make is not so deep last time i went thru there the only guy that made it was on 44's

my buddy was on 38's and got pretty stuck

the reason not many people wheel up there is cuz there is nothing difficult enough fyi if you had of taken a left down the bata fsr it would have droppped you off near the top of farmers drive by postill

Well, if you think there's lots of logs there - this will really get ya goin'

http://i309.photobucket.com/albums/kk384/goodcanuck/IMG_0589.jpg

this was the pic I wasn't going to show - just to the left of the other pic - now you can take a bridge across it! no tolls yet :D

regarding the bata trail and postill - yeah I know a couple trails (loops) around postill - not alot - but need more. I was hoping this trail was longer and more interesting than it sounds - still want to do it anyhow.
