just pulled the steering shaft in my jeep today and realized that the one that i got was about 1.5" shorter, mine is a 90xj 2 door, 4.0L, anyone know if there is a difference in years or models? i have a 84 and 87, the 87 is a 2 door so would that shaft work? kinda confused, shed some insight

when i took mine out of that sport i got the steering shafts where the same but the steering column was different !! what did u take your other steering shaft out of? auto or standard? i found the automatic steering columns are an 1.5" smaller then the standard one
