I'm on a pic posting frenzy......
We had such great weather in May - made it real easy to get out
Crystal Dave and i went for a bike ride followed by grub and beer at the flying beaver. We parked at the Beaver and headed to Steveston, made it there in no time so continued on. This is just past Steveston some signs said Britannia Shipyard :dontknow:

Fynn Slough - this used to be a working fishing village - people still live there and are fighting some sort of eviction

Ended up biking to the massey tunnel - figured this would be a good spot to stop for a smoke
how does a fish end up here (we were right above the tunnel)

We ended up turning this little trip into a loop
the sun setting down at the river rock casino http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t226/mudgirl_photos/May%2009/IMG_1592.jpg

we managed to do the most of this loop on trails which is purdy awesome for the amount of ground covered

On a sunny Sat Mel Adam and i headed to Buntzen Lake to hike the Diez Vistas Trail
the first view of the Indian Arm

the 1st offical Vista

looking up the arm (vista 4 i think)

no climbing up if you go over this ledge

Random tree on the trail

heading down to the lower trail on the backside of Butzen

last week i was up in Prince George for my best friend from high schools wedding - it was a great time - got to see peeps i haven't seen in +10yrs
since i work in Squamish i took the duffy lake road to hook-up with the 97
took a few pics on the drive up - i just can't get enough of this area

Seaton Lake (Lillooet side)

heading down into lillooet

Going thru Marble Canyon

ended up staying near 83 mile house and visited Joe in the morn - it twas good ta see ya buddy [cheers]

the "girls" together
Darba, Jas (bride to be) and me

most of the time i was up there it was wedding wedding wedding - how ever we did manage to get some time in at one of the many nearby lakes

some of the boys "fishing"

and one last shot from out at Iona Beach

I've been looking at it for a few years now - never had anyone to go with- i'd definately do it again
the first 5 vistas are the best the rest are kinda growing over. its about 500m elevation gain and to do the whole loop its roughly 15km
