View Full Version : Truck Stalling????

06-04-2009, 10:24 PM
Well I've never had this problem before...

But my truck stalled at three different intersections on the way home from work today.... I don't know why? *it's an automatic before the 'find the clutch stabs come in, although i do know how to drive a stick*.... Maybe because of the heat?

I've also noticed that it's revving up and down while just idling and it just seems unusual? It'll go up to 2 and then down to almost 0 and up and down in between. It's been doing this for a few days now...

Any ideas or suggestions anyone?

I'm thinking it may need to go to a shop but was wondering if anyone had any insight first?

sounds like throttle position sensor, or maybe MAF, or inlet air temp sensor? Could even be a plugged fuel filter or your pump is toast. Hook it up to a scanner and check for codes.
