any ideas or proven applications appreciated .. Need to some how figure out how to drop the front mount down a couple few inches and not be totally generic or unsafe ..

im thinking maybe welding a length or rectangular tube across front frame rails and then bolting the mount from there but are there any kits available for that or anyone on here make parts like that.. Ill try to post pics of what I mean .

we put a drop shackle on rear mount of front but wanna drop the front mount without it being all shitty ?/ make sense?

just weld a crossmember where you want to front mounts to be and then 4 tabs to hang you leafs from and gussit the crossmember to the frame rails

4 tabs? Better weld and gusset the shit outa them or they will fold over.

This works, plus the 4" leafs and 3" body lift, thats a 40" swamper......

I thought of mounting a winch plate in there too, but i think im just going to use my winch bumper.

Now that looks well built very nice fab work. I just got a reciever put on my truck for my winch and about the only down side is the winch and mount is ackward to carry solo but still do able. But atleast when I ain't using it locked up in the shed and not in the elements all the time.

Yea im still trying to decide the best way to mount my winch so its not in the elements or open to theives all the time.
I also did slightly longer shackles on the rear of the front springs to keep driveline angles.
