what is a limb or your life worth???? Dont even want to mention kids or wiffee,if ya dont have the skills,it's going to cost ya,DO NOT CHEAP OUT!!!!1

I have a 3/4 cage built in Samson, and the wife and kids are still not allowed to come out in him.Talk to Warmonkey,He had a nice 1 built, cost him some $$$ but it get;s used and stands up.

There are plenty of places(local thrill store)but I would expect to spend at least 1500.00 and up depending.

Poo pipe is very strong and would blend right in with your jeep:dontknow:
What parts are you thinking of up-grading? Apparently 1 1/4 poo pipe fits a 1 3/4 die....

if you ever want to run a comp in it, needs to be 1.75 x .188 wall min.

does not need to be dom.
You can use CREW, CREW is half the cost of DOM and 75% as strong

DOM is CREW, Drawn Over Mandrel

CREW is Cold Rolled Electric Welded

FWIW, my exo is 1.5 x .120 CREW.

just a couple of things to add here ... once peeps cage there junk they feel safer and drive acorrdingly so please make sure it's properly done so you don't have the false sense of saftey ... to do it right do not build of the existing " SPORT CAGE" it is a diposable ment for a one time use very thin walled and weak ... i would use dom for my main hoops ie a and b pillars and any areas you plan to have contact the outside world for strutural and use the cheaper crew or hrew witch has a visable seam for tieing that all together ... and trianglation ... any other q's eric feel free to send me some pm's or you have my number ... [cheers] ...

its just not as strong.

1020 dom has a yield of 50-60kpsi
1026 dom has a yeld of about 60-70k psi

crew approx 45kpsi
hrew approx 40kpsi

99% of the dom people use is 1020.
1026 dom is a little more money but REALLY strong, (this is what my rear links are made of)
