I have a pinhole size hole in my brake line on a 90 degree bend right by my fuel tank. Can I use something like JB weld or something like it to patch the hole or do I have to replace it?

Thanks

Brakes and steering are not the place to cheap out on. Just pinch it off with vise grips and call it a day:D

When I replace brake lines on say a Toyota where they rot out behind the gas tank, I just run new lines from the front junction to the valve at the rear. Don't try to put a junction into an existing line, 9 out of 10 times it won't work with an old line.

You in the OK or Kootenays?

What the hell, that's some really bad advise. If jb weld won't fix it, how the hell is a chunk of brain matter going to fix it? and how's he going to get some? Pictons outa buisness, or does he have an apprentice?

Just replace the whole thing. Might be $20. Very cheep peace of mind.
