I had a 93 Grand as well and wheeled it for 4-5 years before it was written off. Lots of fun, lots of power and super comfy ride. Still have alot of the "extras" and the RE lift that I removed before ICBC took it [36]

so far so really good.
looking within the week to get a rear bumper fab'd up.
i was thinking 1 or 1.5 dom pipe contouring the lights and hatch with a straight 2" pipe below with a few supports connecting.
and painting it black or olive drab.

just got a bumper made up by custom suspension in abby, they changed the design i had made up, i dont like it.. its dual 2" square bar, fits contours of a grand, 400bucks, or trade for COMPLETE stock bumper

Happypants
05-06-2009, 06:29 PM

Happypants
05-06-2009, 07:58 PM
They fix your frame yet joe?

thrillbilly
05-06-2009, 09:21 PM
nope, gonna cost another 4-5 bills to build a custom .25" steel U plate around the trackbar mount, about 8" wide.

troy i wish i came to ya earlier, this guy had never built a jeep bumper before and it shows. the backs great just how it wraps around the side i dont like at all.. i might cut it down. ill get pics next sunny day.

Happypants
05-06-2009, 09:28 PM
Jesus!!! Buy a good welder and some steel and I'll make you some sexy front and rear bumpers and fix your whole track bar situation too!

For what it's worth man they could keep fuckin ya around and take ya for a few grand if they wanted to!

thrillbilly
05-06-2009, 09:45 PM
yeah thats true but the owner came up with the steel u plate idea and his personal work reps his company so will go this route and see how it stands up.

either that or u find me a welder good enough for the job for a few hundred and i get the steel for free from my uncle u met.

Happypants
05-06-2009, 09:48 PM
I'll ask around but you might not get your jeep back for a few days, but it will be done properly,

thrillbilly
05-11-2009, 07:58 PM

nbrowser
05-11-2009, 08:07 PM
Jeeps are way easy to modify....mine came with an add-a-leaf in the back end so she was honched so I put some simple lil coil spacers in the noce and longer shocks to go with em....levelled it off, she wheels like a bastard in drugs....goes anywhere I point it literally and apparantly catches air.....good luck with the Jeep there thirllbilly35

well it made it to and from harrison for the weekend with a full load no problem, with a trip to sylvester on the way home.

RuGGleS
05-19-2009, 09:13 PM
nice lookin jeep man.

il agree the rear bumper doesnt fit the shape of the jeep but its not that bad. its looks just a bit to bulky on the sides but the rear part looked nice.

o and i was campin right beside ya all weekend to lol i had the black grand [cheers]

thrillbilly
05-19-2009, 09:30 PM
lol nick thats what kris came up with..
i hated it at first. its growin on me though. back looks better.
grands have a weird rear end a dual round tube wouldnt look right..

oh ya i seen u in langley after campin i was like what a coincidence.
nice jeep man! its louder then mine :(

RuGGleS
05-19-2009, 09:35 PM
lol ya i was like o nice grand, wait thats the same one from campin lol

ya the exhaust is perfect i think, i took my cat out though so thats prob why its louder. i got a super 40 flowmaster for a muffler

thrillbilly
05-19-2009, 09:40 PM
yeah i got a super 40 too, with stock cats.
woulda gone wheelin with ya up there if my track bar was secure lol.

RuGGleS
05-20-2009, 01:00 PM
lol ya would have been good, wats up with ur track bar?

my rear track bar is starting to rip the mount off the axle, so i took it a bit easy up there anyways

thrillbilly
05-20-2009, 08:01 PM
same but mines ripped off the subframe not the axle.
its bolted in in place right now with .25 steel.

Troy
05-21-2009, 12:15 AM
