hey im looking to pick up a yj and found a 92 2.5L that has worn syncros but still driveable.. anyone have a tranny for sale or know where to look?
or anyone willing to do re/re with me for some beer bacon and money

To replace the synchros in that transmission isn't a really technical job as long as you have some mechanical skills. May want to price out the parts and seals.

its either that yj or a grand cherokee.
yjs too small for what we need. and a cherokee i found has 4" lift, m/ts, v8, and runs great... needs wheel bearing so price is lloooww

Wheel bearings are reletively easy......it's a one piece sealed unit up front....

yeah going to look at it today reguardless of if the truck sells.
quoted at 200 for part and 100 for labor if i dont feel like doing it.
problem is getting it towed from chilliwack to langley.
