So I went down and met up with Gary ( mUD uCKer) on Monday in Salmon Arm, And he went to town on my prepped 8.8. I dont have to tell you that the cost of his RHM brackets that he makes is way less than the M.O.R.E brackets I was considering. Especially with the current exchange rate. Not to mention the product is WAY beefier than the competition. These things are stout to say the least. I Dont think they could break off even if you tried to bust em. Look at the size of these. I wish I took some pics next to the stockers on The D35 laying there for comparison. Anyone considering the 8.8 swap should definitely go this route.

I am having it sandblasted, this is why I haven't primed it yet, but here are some pics.

Looks good. nice and buff. Id still throw a couple triangle gussets on the uppers and a wrap around skid for the lowers (to prevent rocks and tree stumps from jaming on the control arm) I love to over gusset everything. never know when your gona be slaming into something. plus if your in a serious accident (which hope to God never happens) you know that wont break off - - and ICBC wont be trying to peg you for an unsafe vehicle, only because its not factory.
