View Full Version : Good times at Eagle

04-11-2009, 12:34 AM
Decided to take the top off today, go for a drive up Eagle. Ended up having a great time...The girls loved it.

Didn't make it to the lookut...only 1 truck and no winch. We stopped for lunck, before heading back down.
Once down, decided to venture through the forest and got stuckered
Made use of the hi lift jack to get out

Tried to go down the power lines, but snow was getting deep. Had to air down to...well, almost nothing.
My beads loose air quickly when aired down that low and by the time I made to to the first gas station, it looked like this

All in all....really good times![36]

Right on Razman, looks like you all had a really fun day wheel'en. I like the use of the highlift to unstucker yourself, way to go prepared for the day! How were the snow levels up to the look out?

Yes, I put a few dents on it. The good thing is all the panels are still available, but $$$. I started working on it, the front end is done, this weekend I'll do the back and then I need someone to replace my rocker panels with some square tubing.
Up there, I was able to go 5min further than last weekend...so the snow is melting quickly. Also there were tire tracks going past the point where I turned arround. I'll post some pics...
It gets tricky going down the lines as well. As I said before, I had to air down really low. Then I lost all the air in both of my rear tires as I was heading out. This guy had a little compressor and we managed to put just enough air to make it to the first gas station. Man does it feel fucked up driving on pavement with that little air.
Let's wait a little longer for the weather to get better, then I'll take pics of the girls. The sun seems to have some effect on them. The pics come out MUCH better!

I know, I missed the last few events. I can't belive I missed the spudspudspudspudspud run....I was really looking forward to that. I'm working on a diesel swap for the truck so...busy, busy.

Great Pics...always trying to impress the chicks eh!
Of course! why else would I buy Mercedes! Nah man....my girlfriend has like 20 friends...all girls, and aparently they like this stuff. Last time at Davis though they just stayed in the truck the whole time. Even Nick's charms didn't get them out :dontknow:

Razon, just an offer but if ya want to bring the G-Wagon to where I work I can do a bead sealing on all four, might help them retain air when aired down....just involves dismounting the tires, cleaning the wheel lips and tire beads then applying a bead sealer compound to the wheels, it'll be a looseish glue between the wheel and tire.

Nice shots btw....lovely ladies too !
