pump runs continuously when key turned instead of cutting out after it builds pressure. and when front pump is engaged it sends fuel back the rear tank return line. pressure at rail is within spec when pump is on but when key is turned off it drops off fast to like 5 psi. starting to think its a funky relief valve at the rail or something :dontknow:

anyone ever come across anything like this?

p.s. fords are the best.

Always broke

Some times the relay on the inner fender on the drivers side gets fuckkerred try cleaning the connectors or changing it a bosch relay will work for a test

sounds like the pressure regulator is ok if fuel pressure is within spec while running. the FDM in the tank (fuel delivery module) has a valve to stop the fuel from returning to the wrong tank. so the FDM in the rear tank might be pooched.

the relay could be sticking

found out my rear pump is weak so maybe it isnt closing that valve all the way allowing pressure to bleed off. i had already planned to remove the rear tank to chop off some frame so right now im gettin my fittings from the factory mess spliced onto 2 single lines and gonna run a single tank setup, ill see if it primes then

thats the plan just the 8 or so inches after the rear leaf mount, then flat deck time[36]

starting to think my injectors arent getting a signal from computer.... should fire with pressure at the rail

check injectors with node light, real easy.

so the positive pin on the injector plug is getting power. when i crank the light comes on and stays on. should it be flashing on and off as the injector cycles?

you need to hook a light to both wires of the injector or use a noid light

I just use a #194 bulb one wire in each pin of the injector plug

ground is what is the signal from the puter
