So here she is not the best pics but she is a 1991 4L 2” body lift lots of km’s but it was 500$ hard and soft top running like a top well there is the slight problem of the output shaft and housing on the tcase being totally gone lol but what dose that matter they would be tossed for the sye kit anyway and the yoke on the rear axle is busted dose any one know if its shimmed inside or a crush sleeve I want to replace it but I don’t know if it is as easy as just pulling the nut and putting a new yoke on let me know guys thanks. So the plan is get it in the shop and do a soa conversion on it for this summer and if all goes well next year I would like a 4link set up but that’s a ways off cant wait to get it home and rip her apart.

NICE! i was looking for something just like that to start on a few months ago! but i ended up with a free blazer with a shot tranny and body instead... meh it'll work! you should document your SOA with pics and steps and such :D

i will be documenting every step if i can it should be fun this will be the first real buid iv done so im sure there will be a fair share of internet time involved but from what i have read it seems like a pretty simple fab job im just so happy to get the jeep iv tryed doing a little whelling in my truck but its way to long so getting the yj worked out and now when i have her built a little more to what i want i can trailer her behing the ford lol

sweet as for the SOA, haha keep it on the low pro, Nutbar doesn't like 'em... and he's the Jeep Thrills guy.

ya i think i may have talked to him who ever it was told me the pros and cons but where vary helpfull and didnt say if i did a soa convertion that my dick would fall off to quote a gun saying so that was nice i do intend on 1ton axles in the future but i want to wheel this summer so like it or lump it im gonna give the soa a shot i think with some extra time and some track bars it might not be that bad.
