spool or lock right.

A spool is stronger and more predicable on the street (I've found), it's always locked so you know what its gonna do no bangs and clanks ,but chews tires and is shitty in a parking lot:D I have never run a lock rite so I can't say much about them

i would ask for front or rear?

A lock-rite is only as strong as the open case its going in, example; open dana cases often snap in half. Just get a Detroit locker, they are the beast. I`ve been running them for 35 years in several toys.

a lockrite is a waste of money they DO NOT LAST especially in a rear end every lockrite I have installed for any customer has ended up failling usually within a year of installation

and a spool is a waste of tires

save up the extra couple hundred bucks and buy a Detroit locker you will only buy it once, by far the toughest locker out there, I run Detroits in the rear of every one of my rigs including my daily driver and I won't run anything else

Thanx for the info guys. Looks like I will save for a detroit. No use burnin up tires and wasting the cash on something that isn't gonna last.
