I'm new to this... so if my terminology is off... take it easy!

I wanna put a lift on my 1500 and I don't know if I should do a suspension lift or a body lift or just bigger tires?...

Does anyone know a good place to check prices or even somewhere to look into details about where's a good place to start looking?

Or anyone have any suggestions on which I should do first???

I'm also looking for a Grill and some lights and nerf bars... so any idears, shot em my way!

stay away from body lifts. i think most people go with leveling kits.

I've got 33s on my stock 04 1500, putting in 2" leveling kit heard 35s are as big as I can go.
Is your 03 ifs or solid axle?

it's a solid axle.

I just talked to someone as well from Jeep Thrills and he said with the 2, 31/33s would be good... but he'd recommend puttin a 1 1/2 leveling kit in with 31's or 33's and doing a body lift at that point just to give it a bit more clearance.

I haven't been under my truck... I've just been told that it's not independent front suspension....

Like I said... I'm new and I honestly don't know much...

But I'm learning!!! So consider that an open invitation to teach me what you think i need to know ;) :D

uhh 3+2=5 if you have a 6" suspension i would say that it makes sense your friends is 1 inch lower
a buddy of mine has the same truck and he did a leveling kit and fit 35s and it looks good hes got no complaints

I had 35's with no lift or leveling and they didnt rub.Take cash and you will always get a better deal.

If yours is IFS you need the torsion key laveling kit or chrysler told me they would crank mine up for $80 give you about 1 to 1.5" I was told. But I would recommend the keys.

suspension lifts for half tons are pricey and a pain in the ass to do.

Thanks for that...

Good thing I'm not going to be doing the work! I'll help, but I don't know what I'm doing!
