View Full Version : V-Day turned rescue mission

Kevin convinced me to go out for a few hours on Valentines Day which turned into a major rescue mission which took all day!!!!
We went up Eagle alone and had no problems even with all the snow, was about to leave when we were told there were a few trucks stuck that needed help out and it turned into quite the rescue, one of which needed pulling out the entire way cause he blew up his rig lots of fun! Met some nice people though so it wasn't so bad except we were freezing cause we hit all the branches which dumped snow all over us and we ended up pretty wet for the 3 hour rescue.

Nice pictures , my daughter has alot of pictures also as she was up there with her boyfriend in the dodge diesel , a big thanks Kevin for helping them [it proves what goes around comes around as we over the years have helped lots of people and now someone helped indirectly us, our daughter Sara spoke highly of you and had to phone me at home to see if I knew you but said no as we haven't got out much lately but know the area well for we us to hike up there with the dogs ] had to laugh when she got home cold and wet she said she's not going wheeling again when there's snow but it was nice to see she got out instead of hanging out at malls:D

Ya there's a rope holding it down and a strap holding it up. I believe that has been fixed now, hopefully
02-19-2009, 07:04 PM
ya its fixed, I welded to more mounts onto the factory one and gusseted it well, went from three mount points to five, hope that holds
