What year of frame will work on a 90 jimmy? Blazer and Jimmy should be the same too right?

oops yea I guess that would help eh? I need a new frame for a full sized 90 jimmy. The body is good but the frame is fucked so the plan is to put the good body on a good frame. I am not too sure what years of frame and body match up.

[iagree]

If you are using your stock 1990 front and rear bumpers.... 81 - 91.

Not sure of the Blazers, but when I put a '86 Crew Cab body on my '80 crew cab frame,
The rad support fit on the stock mounts but i had to put a 3" spacer at the front cab mount, 2" under the center & a 1" spacer at the rear.
Also when I put my '80 seats in the '86 cab, the seat belts wouldn't line up with the holes in the floor.
Another problem I had was putting my factory tint side windows from the '80 into the '86 cab, old glass was thicker & I had to also swap out the weather stripping.

Last one was that my nice '80 carpet didn't fit the contours of the '86 floor.

I used my '80 box so don't know how the '86 would have fit.

I'm pretty sure the blazer frames change somewhere in the mid eighties:)
