Well i finally got $$$$'s to do my gears in the Beast. Here is my question...Is there some companies that are better than others for quality & reliability. Who should i use & anything i should avoid. I talked to a fellow at Gears & Rears & he said that the aftermarket ones he could get me would not be as strong as my stock gears??? Talked to Yasu at NSOR (they carry Precision) & he said they would be stronger than stock. I think i have decided on 4.88's. Help Please.

If you can find a way to get Randy's ring and pinion to ship a set to you I would go that route. Last I heard they weren't shipping to Canada.
I wheel with a couple people that have the Trail-gear... gears they are happy with them so far and heck the price wasn't bad either. If you go that route buy them through the www.trail-gear.ca site (it is actually NSOR sister store Sport trucks) and they are cheaper online compared to when you call Sport Trucks. Yukon gears are pretty decent! Expensive but strong from what I have found. IMO.
I went Trail gear just because of price. And I'm cheap. Good luck with it all.
