imo, the proper way to do it is get a compressor that you can leave on the valve, turn the compresser on, spray whatever you decide to use on it (most flamable liquids/aerosols work (ex: ether, gas, hairspray), use something that you can light on fire and throw at it, and throw from a distance

ive done it countless times at home/at stave, and on the trail

ask digger about the time at home haha

works better if you take the valve core out first

works better if you take the valve core out first

or if you get a compresser that clips to the valve so you dont need to take the core out

there actually is a proper way to do it, most people dont know how and thats how they hurt themselves. ive seated well over 20 tires using ether and have never had a problem.

X2
I used to have to do it to my logging truck
It had C.T.I and if you got a leek you lost the bead....
Use your head and you'll be fine.......
Anyone who does it fairly close with spectators standing around deserves a smack in the ear.....
