i moved and fixed my fuel tank and when i put it back in and hooked it all up i couldnt get it to start. i tryed reversing the fuel lines thinking i put them backwards but it still wont start. if anyone knows what the problem is and how i can fix it i could use your help. o and when the fuel tank was out i was still able to start it by using a gas can. and yes i do have fuel in the tank

IS your pump whining with the ignition on??.. might want to check if its wired up..

well it was working befor and i didnt to anything to it so i dont think it is the pump

i have bin working on it for a long time now and i am just about done and now it wont start so i really wana figure this out

Well We can't really give you any ideas if you "think" that its working... if it is working you would hear it whine and it would pressure rise your line...

You can always try and run it off of a can of carb cleaner.

Put gas in the tank, get a buddy to crank it for you as you lightly spray carb cleaner in the carb to get it to run, sometimes there is an air lock in the lines and by doing this it will pass the air lock.

Huge question, what year sammi. fuel injected or not.


From your post it says your started it with a jerry can when the tank was out. that would mean mechanical pump. look for the basics like pinched line etc.....

no the line that comes from the tank in the tank had a hole in it up at the top
