View Full Version : Which trans should i use????

I have the e4od in my 91 f150 now and am switching to a 351w unless the other deal on a 460 works out. I have a complete propane system for a carbed set up that im considering using but cant use the e4od without the computer and sensors etc.
Is there an automatic that is worth swapping in?

you can buy a stand aloan system for that trans if you need
the OD or have lots of coin into it . c-6 or 435 , ZF

Do you know who makes the stand alone?
And what is a 435? Still learning ford.

sorry thought looking for all good trans , c-6 takes most abuse
for cheapest . Np 435 is a 4 speed with one of the lowest first
gear . Lost my link for stand alone box for e4od wasnt cheap .

C-6 is the best bang for your buck

C6 is stronger than the e4od too isn't it?

12-16-2008, 09:57 PM
e4od is a c-6 with another gear
