dana 44 ok is there any variations of this or is that all i need to know to get my mini spool? and as for the 8.8 is there any way of telling how meny spline i have with out opening it up?

As to the rear spline count it should be a 31 spline. all three i have owned have been as well as all the ones i have scrapped or pulled apart at a wrecker. Ford explorers have 31 spline 8.8's as well.

All broncos and f-150s have a 31 spline count, I wouldnt spool that front end unless you have lots of spare u-joints and some spare axles lying around. What are your plans for the truck/what do you primarly use it for?

just want to run some trails but i dont have the money for a differnt rig so im doing what i can to make my truck more useable its not a daily driver i just take it out on weekend do i have any better options that wont brake the bank for my front end ???

I run my front end open and havent had too many issues. The only time i've had traction issues is when the clutch packs in my limited slip rear have broken.

Or when im just somewhere i shouldn't be :D
Biggest improvement i found was my lift and tires of course but the 4.10's instead of 3.55's it came with made a big difference with my underpowered 302.

Hey if your looking for a mini spool got one for that diff and some
spare axles and might still have a 3rd 3.55 . But like someone said
that spool eats u joints .
