Check for vacuum leaks. the Renix injected motor is known for this as I've had two both '89s....when a vacuum leak crops up it idles HIGH for some odd reason. Just an idea.

throttle positioning sensor, its on the throttle body,
pull it out, if you have, grab a airhose and blow the bitch clean then put it back in, our 90s have shitty tps sensors, another thing he can do is wrap it in aluminum tape to keep the heat exchange from the manifold down which will also cause it to wear out quicker,

or that, when mine did that it was the tps though,

ive had TONS of problems with the renix tps, when they get warm, it idles higher. like nick said, clean out the plug, put dielectic grease onthe plug and it should be back to normal. i wraped the new one I got on the stroker with foil tape to help keep the heat off of it to keep it a normal temp, it works great! hasnt idled funny yet (though I used a cheap IAC which made it stall)
