check ih8mud.com. im sure you'd be able to find the answer in the diesel & 24V forum. search '2lt to 2lte'. check raddcruisers.ca or rockymountainimports.net for parts.

Ya they are different comp ratios. You can turbo the 2L very easily You will just cant run as mush boost as the 2L is higher comp then the 2Lt. If you want it to be stock then you need new injectors, Injection pump with boost compensation. EPC shows a different part number for the turbo and non turbo cams and crank for some reason. The main bearings are aluminium so I doubt your crank is spun.

Google "ROO DOGS" and check them out for the parts you need (Email), they are in Austrailia but they are inexpensive.

PM me if you need parts. Generally I can get them cheaper then roo-dog. You pay almost double for toyota/hino diesel parts in canada over the states. ROO-DOG isnt all OEM either. I got screwed on some injectors from them. Second stage wasnt shimmed properly at all and refused to pay for shipping back.
You could get a used engine from japan cheaper then a rebuild too.
