how narrow of a rim can you get away with running 37x13" boggers on?

i would go with an 8 inch rim and youll be fine, anything less and it will become a pain on the trail

do you know if it would work to take stock chevy rims (i believe they're approx 7" wide) and put weld on beedlocks on them to get the extra width?

DIY beadlocks would make a 7 inch rim wide enough, but its a waste of time and money if you ask me. Get some 16x10's or 16x8's and do the beadlocks, it will be worth it in the long run[cheers]

Honoustly I would not do DIY beadlocks again, they can be a pain in the ass and a bitch to mount. For a chevy check out hummer beadlocks on like ebay, I think they usually come in a 16.5 though but are double beadlocks.

blue has more power, but smaller axles, i guess what i should really do is put it on the black and red one, flat deck it, and make the blue one a pavement princess on mtr's haha

I have those exact same tires mounted on 16"x8" steelies with a 3 3/4" backspacing. A 8" wide rim will be perfect.

really bud if you have the rims all ready there won't be a huge differance if your going to do the diy beadlocks ... but the offset could be your main issue as the facory rims sit so far under the truck that u will be rubbing the leafs when you turn tight ... [cheers]

how are DIY beadlocks a pain to mount?

Just the fact that there is no groove or seat for the bead, so centering isn't exact and you have to either weld the nuts on or hold a wrench on each nut to install bolts.
