I wish I could have a truck like that as a secondary vehicle :) knowing that you have to drive to work in the truck the next day it's a real PITA when you want to try all the fun stuff. Nice truck!

I was the same way when i first got it, wasnt knowing that i had to goto work the next day cause i got the diesel, but knowing that i had to get home still in the same truck lol, but since i got the trailer ive started going harder and not worrying so much, if i break then i just gotta get back to the trailer, or at worst drive the truck and trailer up the fsr to get the jeep which is always a plus, not having to worry about DOT trying to fuck my over with a vi cause of how my truck looks,

but ya man, like nbrowser said, i was pretty impressed that you brought that out, i do alot of work in vancouver and all i see out there is blinged out g-wagons with 22`s on them and the fancy lights n tinted out windows,
good on ya for using it like its supposed to be used,[36]

You're the seccond person to say that so it must be true :)
I quickly looked into it today...visual inspection, and I didn't see anything wrong...except th efact that they DON'T work when I do put it in reverse :)
Tomorrow after I come down from Eagle I'll power wash it and then fix it.

Honestly, I think you're seing the new ones...they haven't changed the design since '78 when they first started making them. Pre 2000 models are very rare cause the only way to get one is to import it. And to wheel a 2000+ model you must be a little crazy since they're over 120k new.
I got extremly lucky with mine, since a diesel one from '85 still goes for 20k
My other vehicle it's a highly modified VW...I can't count on it for much either...and it's broken right now :(

Dude, take ANY engine, crank the boost till it makes 5 times the power it was designed to, and then use it as your daily driver... See how long it'll last.
Now, some people baby their cars, but what's the point then. I have problems with the con rod bearings...which are made by Clevite (American) and transmission gears...I'm on tranny #8 which is stronger, but I only got 15000km out of the first 7...that's 2 for every oil change (at 3000 I'm intervals)
Ok, let's not hijack this post :)
