I made up my own intake just like this one, but I wanted to see about running the pcv lines elsewhere. They are just for venting as far as I know, so I'm unsure if I need vacuum on them or just venting. I have the adapters to make it just like this diagram but the chuck on my drill is too small for the bit.

Ah forgot to mention that. The truck runs fine! From what i've gathered, the lower circle goes to the passenger side pcv valve, this is the factory bypass into the intake for emmisions. The upper circle is the vent for the driver side... both have no vacuum on them but where routed into the intake from factory for a reason. Was it for emmisions, or was it to vent the upper crankcase. I'm unsure if I can block one off and put a filter on the other... or if they need to be plugged in etc. If I can block them off, than thats 2 less vacuum lines under the hood, I just dont want to wreck something doing it that way.

put vent filters on both the only thing i can see them there for is so it can put clean air in to the engine..... so the just ran it off the intake.

This is mine. Anyways the guys on yotatech informed me that my system wont work properly as the reed valve is getting air forced against it and'll mess something up. Looks like I need to find a drill to finish it off.
