if you want your TRAJOMATIC to live, put in an aftermarket tranny cooler

thats exactly what i was thinking, from what i've read nissan put the tranny fill plug too low....

thats only on manuals.

just make sure you put 5.1 quarts in it.. originally they took 3.6. the hole was .97" too low.

does it matter 2 door or 4 door tranny, i assume they're the same....

2 door / 4 door same same.. wheelbase, everything.. just a different body on the frame.

Guy on bc4x4 in the same thread is saying they're different...crossmember or something.

I think that the auto to manual are different. but the 2 door and 4 door have same chassi

thanks pathy, you seem to know quite abit about pathfinders.... i got a 90 2 door, will the earlier 2 doors parts swap to a 90? i was thinking about getting a 88 2 door for spare parts, windows, doors, interior.... not thinking of engine parts.... will they swap?:dontknow:

yes all 2 doors were the same..

HOWEVER, a 90 2 door is as rare as my 86.5.. they were left over.

Does it have throttle body injection or MPFI?
I'm not sure on the 90's because 90 2 door is VERY rare.

looks like mpfi....

SWEET, a two door with MPFI...
nice, wish mine had it.

you could convert it to a manual, I did my old 92 pathy and it was alot of fun, all the bolt holes are already there for the pedal, master cyl etc. and you get a nice little anti-theft system with the neutral safety switch, when you leave your truck you can put the switch in drive and nobody will figure it out, cause its a standard :D

Here's a TRANY that may fit.

the most disturbing thing, is that you actually have that picture.
