I am from newton area of Surrey .. I have been wheelin off and on for about 18 years or so. Last year in feb 2007 bought my 2000 TJ , after wheelin with my bud in his 2006 Rubicon.. I had too much fun .. I also have another rig I rebuilt, but has been parked since buying my jeep. It is a 1980 ford f250 , 4"lift on 35's. It looks 1987 and 1990 under .. I will see if I can get pics or you can check some on facbook, of some summer fun on the thruston loop trail.

Hi everyone ,

Dave , with the blue chevy truck mentioned this site to me in the summer. I met up with him at chipmunk forest service road. My buddy and I were looking for a trail and dave came by and ask if we were into doing this loop trail, he said if we did not mind getting lots of pin striping, to follow him. So we agreed and it was a pretty cool trail with an awesome view over Rosedale. Been on the thruston loop trail 3 times since and each time was just as fun.
Thanks to meeting up with Dave, now I am here to have fun in bc .. [36]

Hey Rocky...[cheers] Its Dave, good to see you here.

You will get permission soon.

Here is some stuff on the Newbie Run, October 19, 2008

"Ok folks well this year its going to be at Davis lake . And as most of you know there are many trails in that area also for stock and built rigs to play in [36]. Also this event will be a good chance for us to clean up the area and yet again prove that Fun In Bc looks after the trails more than most !!!! So Bring an extra garbage bag to pack out extra crap !! . We will be selling the usual food cost will be the same as other events . This a great chance for newbies who are brave enough to meet some of the members . That way we at least know who we are being assholes to !!!:D

Soooooooooooo who's brave enough !!! 10AM BEGINNING OF THE TRAIL HEAD"

"take the # 7 east of mission to SYLVESTER RD turn down sylvester and take it approx 14k till it turns to gravel

then look for F.I.B.C signs on the right side only.

these will take you to little Iraq.

this will be the meeting place and location of the BBQ

we will make runs according to vehicle capability from there.

this is a open family event [cheers]

but be warned
Fucktards
will not be tolerated"
