Well cuz I ain't so smrt, progress goes a little slow. I had done the rear of my 6" lift, and didn't feel confidant in my abilities to tackle the front alone. So I was finally able to hook up with super Vince and here is what we (he) got done tonight.:D

pile of parts to start with
92920
what we started with ... the XXX-J:D
92921
mostly dissassembled
92922
left side control arms in
92923
R/E frame stiffener
92924
R/E drop bracket (trac bar)
92925
what's going in compared to what is coming out
92926

to be continued...........[cheers]

Well got a little bit more progress done. Disco's are in, and sliders are on. Drop pitman arm will have to wait for a puller, tie rod is in. Got a plan for rear shock mounts, and then steering box brace and winch mount:confused0006: hmmm starting to sound like my list isn't shortening, lol. Anyways, a few pics[cheers]

Drop pitman arm was changed, and we took it out for a little scoot, no wobbles or strange behaviour, found the scource of the thump in the rear to be a dented shock. After a little welding on the rear she will be good to go.
Heres's a few pics, one with cheese, one without.

wOOt wOOt!!!!:party0010: she rolls again..got'r insured today.Probably a little premature, as there are still a few things, like broken grease nipples and an alignment that I need. But due to car down situation XXX_J is pressed into action for a week or so of 140-150k per day commutes. Rides pretty good, no bead lock shake till 70-80ish, so it will be a slow show, but we're rollin again[36]

Next is the tidy up the little bits and get started on the winch attachment.
