thats your problem its a 2.5L prolly a intake leak, check your 02 sensor, if its not connected, or black or green its dead and will make it run rich, the reving high will most likely be your tps (throttle position sensor) or your iac, if it has one,

pull your o2 sensor out, if its really dirty with thick black shit on it, its dead, or worse if its green and smells like fish, then its been dead for a while!

how do you check if you got 4.10 gears?

Happypants
10-01-2008, 08:36 PM
pull the diff cover, count the theeth on the ring gear and count the theeth on the pinion, divide the ring gear by the pinion, and you will get it, unless you still have and can read the diff tag then it will say 4 10 or whatever gear ya gots

CromeY

Dont trust the tag. Take the first advice and count em. Could have been changed.

its not like its hard pull the diff cover, drain the oil, count up the theeth then put new rtv on and seal it up, then put some GL-5 in there lazy bones!

Perfect excuse to 1. Change diff fluid and 2. Examine the condition of the gears.....open it up !
