So ive tryed to sell and trade this Ranchero off but havnt had any takers.

How much work do you think it would be to put a 4x4 under it?

How hard would it be to re-register if I swapped it over onto a pickup running gear?

Id rather have a Zuk but I gotta do something with the Ranchero.

Its a frame but its also kinda looks like part Unibody.
2500 or trades is what I was asking.

mesure the wheelbase find a f150 or something with the same wheel base
probably full size, rancheros are pretty big
something with the same size engine would be good easy parts aswell
and if its close to the same year all your lines should be a pretty easy to hook back up
sounds like a sweet project
good luck !

A buddy of mine did one years ago
It didnt work to well the shape of the floor dictated how well it sat on the donor frame and it didnt sit well it lookedlike a truck with a six inch body lift and steering was a problem too if I remember right

You don't have to have the big gap between the frame and the body.. borrow an old hot rod trick, channel the body over the frame. it will be cool[36]

dont cut it apart, sell it for what you can. You'll eventually find the right person who'll love it.
