I have 8" toyota solid axles in my jeep out of a mystery toyota. I'm trying to replace my passenger side tie rod end. Went to lordco and no luck. Their was only two listings for toyota pickup and 4runner 79-84. Both of them had the tie-rod threaded ends with the wrong thread and a little too big of a diameter. Anybody have any ideas [16]

Maybe I have to replaced both tierods ends and go with a whole new adjusting sleeve?

Oh and also I need a blowjob :dontknow:

you'll need to "spread the bar a bit" ...

That first is what I tried and the threads to the sleeve were too big Moog 2718 and also tried another not sure what it was but also too big. I can't see them changing to some different tierod when they swapped the axles over. And I can;t think of anything else they would be out of since you can only look them up by vehicle.

Seems wierd, you must have some odd sized tie rods and sleeve on your truck. Get the proper 79-84 tierod ends and a new tube. This will make life a whole lot easier in the future. Aqualu has the proper taps and stock to make you the new tube.[cheers]

Well they let me look through their book at lordco and it looked like the 4runner and pickup had different numbers so I just got them to order it all. I'll stop in after work tommorow and go through some more stuff.

Got it .

They were able to get me everything for an 84-85 pick-up. So I had to go with a new ends and sleeve. Works fine now.

Thanks for the help guys.
