Go 94.5 and up.
Ive had 92 and 93 7.3's and they wont touch a 94.5 and newer.

Look at all the front suspension bushings. The f-350 arent really made to take the weight of that 7.3. I would look for a good 450 or 550 built way way beefier.

Definately go for the turbo... I love my F250.. lots of power, decent fuel economy. I can drive for over 1000km on both tanks and I am lifted(stock tires for the street though), with an edge tuner and intake. Exhaust next and I expect some more efficiency after I ditch that tiny downpipe.

PSD ? And ok I was unaware that the 92 to 94. Did not have a turbo and the one I'm looking at is a 94 so I will have to find out if it has a turbo it has a 4 '' and has 320 000 k on it but has rebuilt heads so wondering if that's getting a little high in k?

PSD = Power Stroke diesel
They changed the engines in 94 1/2.
My 94 1//2 has a PSD.

Oh ok that's what I thought lol ya I found one I'm picking it up Sunday 95 turbo diesel f250 long box extended cab so the only thing I would want to change is the ifs would it be worth putting in a solid front axle in if I don't plan on doing any hard 4x4ing? Have the bogger for that I plan on lifting it so was thinking of even putting the 8 bolt 44 in or is that just a stupid idea I don't think I will run anything bigger than a 35s on it. But would not mind getting rid of all the extra moving parts ....

dana 44 will be ok but if you plan on using the truck it will not hold up. but I would do some research into the front axle carrying capacity. It may not be enough. (ford went to a dana 50 in the diesels) I have a powerstroke bronco but in my opinion half ton gear won't work. I am even unsure if the half ton frame is up to the project either! I have bent and twisted 3 bronco frames in the past. I now have a complete one ton chassis.(frame inc.) I have seen a couple of diesel bronco's now. It's alot of work but good luck.

Ok ya that's what I wanted to know I just wanted something better than the ifs that comes with the F250 I don't plan on ripping this truck apart this one I'm going to use to drive but its good to know that when I get around to the bronco that I make sure to use a 60 or something and ill be using a full 2001 f350 for my bronco swap my buddy said he can get one cheep that has been rolled I think he is more excited about it than me lol
