so i have been shopping around for a lift kit now the rubicon express for a 4.5 with the rear springs is 939 now for a 5.5 its 2000 but with rough country a 6.5 in 900 with the rear springs so what one would be best is rough country any good or what i want 6.5 inch lift but i can add shackles and spacers so what do you guys who have had either systems say just want a good lift thats not gonna destroy the bank thanks in advance

rough country wont give ya flex like this

and i could still flex more if it was a bigger rock,
hands down go with rubicon express, theres 10 jeeps in our group who run R.E and its by far the smoothest longest lasting, most flexable lift on the market right now, you get what you pay for in lift kits, and if you wanna waste your money with buying another in a year then dont go with r.e, ive had mine for about a year and a half and it hasnt dropped a inch!

Happypants
09-14-2008, 12:13 AM
no, 1200 on tired, 300 on rims, i bought everything seperatly instead of a kit so it came out to a bit more, sye was 300, long arms 750, new 8.8 in the rear, coils were 2 or 300, leafs 500, they all add up top end of the engine was redone that was a easy 1000, seats, the list goes on, prolly shouldnt of said 8000 lol but it gets pricey, wanna play gotta pay

CromeY
09-14-2008, 08:52 PM
oh its not gonna be cheep trust me i kno lol i just dont need a 2500 dollar lift right now

francis

It's up to you on how much you want to spend on your lift. I went with the rough country 4.5 it was half the cost of the re 3.5.

there,s just no nice way to put it it's a piece of shit kit ... when your tired of it come talk to me ....

when u compare it to a real lift kit it dosen't but some peeps just have to learn for them selves but then if u don't wheel it probly dosent matter ;)

in the last 2 years i went through 3 full r/c lift kits

and was happy to report a few months ago that the last r/c lift component was finaly out of the jeep.

3 kits in 2 years wow crazy, sorry link didn't work for me. Budget wise the amount of wheeling and low difficultly level of wheeling that I do, I don't require the best lift out there this kit should be suffice.
