Amazing! I liked the picture - a mountain side with a cave or mine. Did you guys go in?

IN-FRICKIN'-SANE!!!!!!!!!!! There is almost every type of landscape imaginable around there. I grew up in Prince George and knew that there was some nice terrain between Williams Lake and Bella Coola but never would have imagined this. Thanks for the pics.

Wow! Incredible pics again, I think these top last years trip. Really wishing I had gone this year, going to have to start planning now for next years trip.

Looks like fresh core samples, did you guys see any drill rigs there?

And has anyone sledded there, like Trencher said, it looks awesome! Woudn't mind doing that one winter (spring I guess) too.

We drive our trucks all the way to southern tip of Upper Taseko Lake, the beach there is our camp and there we unload the bikes/quads.
Then we go on day trips along Battlement Creek and Granite Creek, both about 80-100km riding per day, and we carry some gas on the quads just in case.

You should have gone with us this year, I hope it doesn't happen but the Taseko Lake Lodge owner is trying to close the access road there, sooner or later he may get his way and this is the only road available to take down there.
Anyways, we did not see any drill rigs but as you can see there is a lot of exploration activity down there from 2007/2008, but they go in with helicopters.
I heard that people sled in there but no one I know personally, though there is a trapping cabin that I heard is used in the winter.

all those pics are incredible, i wanted to run a trip up there this last year but I did not know the area that well, and time didnt allow, so I ended up around the south Chikoton instead. (still haven't had time to post the pics :D ) Was that upper or lower Taseko, and at what piont is the park boundry, as alot of the area is fly in only, and on maps has no real roads listed as per the park boundary's?

About 70km from Nemaiah Valley gravel road .
And about 140km to nearest paved road (Hanceville on hwy 20), 100km west of Williams Lake

Yes, in mid August a group of 3 trucks went down there from Pringe George
they drove their trucks to almost all the places you see in the pictures.
Except for the peaks, you need a bike/quad for that or hike the last few hundred feet.
