Hey, I'm new on this board...I've got an '82 toyota 4x4 that I'm building, pretty much following the cookie cutter methods...flat deck, 4" rear springs up front, buggy's with a 2500lb winch for a limiter/unloading prevention, 36" tsl's, trail gear cross over steering and a really straight pipe. For other motorized mayhem I've got a re-geared '94 XR200 that I ride at either cowichan or shawnigan almost every weekend.
I live in Victoria and work as a carpenter.

pro it flexes.
con- to many to list.

number 1 it will droop to the point that all force is pushing straight up not forward.

I havn't seen buggy springs in 5 years

what's done now that isn't in that pic is a 2500lb winch connected as an adjustable limiting strap so as to avoid the unloading issues, and still get the flex. either it'll work or it won't....if it doesn't, I'll do something else.
